First 'Le L' Applied Outside Gangnam Area... Completion Targeted for 2030
'Le L Riverpark Centum' Apartment Complex with 2,070 Units
Public Contributions Include Suyeonggang Circular Overpass and Jaesong Station Forest
Lotte Construction has broken ground on a residential and commercial complex project with a maximum height of 67 floors on the site of the Hanjin container yard located in the Centum area of Haeundae-gu, Busan. This will be the first time the high-end brand 'Le L' is applied to apartments outside of Seoul, with 2,070 units planned for supply.
On the 1st, Lotte Construction announced that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Centum CY site complex facility development project. Attendees at the ceremony held the day before included Lee Buyong, Head of Lotte Construction's Housing Business Division, Kim Gwanghoe, Deputy Mayor of Future Innovation of Busan City, Kim Seongsu, Mayor of Haeundae-gu, and Park Jeongsam, Chairman of Baeksong Holdings.
Lotte Construction announced on the 1st that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Centum CY Site Complex Facility Development Project, "Le L River Park Centum."
The Centum CY site complex facility development project involves constructing six apartment buildings ranging from six basement floors to 67 above-ground floors and one office building on the Hanjin CY site, with the project period lasting until May 2030. The apartment complex name has been finalized as 'Le L River Park Centum.' This complex will be a super high-rise large-scale complex with 2,070 households and is expected to become a new landmark of Haeundae.
Le L River Park Centum will feature over 3,500 pyeong of luxury community facilities, landscaping, and specialized designs for the exterior. The landscaping within the complex will be designed to connect from the Suyeong River to Jaesong Station on the Donghae Line. The circular overpass on Suyeong Riverside Boulevard and the forest near Jaesong Station will be publicly contributed by the developer, Baeksong Holdings. The circular overpass will connect the Suyeong River and the complex, and the forest will be created through maintenance of the Donghae Line's under-track land. Media facades will be installed on the curtain wall-applied high-rise front building's rooftop and low-rise sections, office facilities, and commercial areas within the complex.
Le L River Park Centum offers views of the Suyeong River to the west and Jangsan Mountain to the east. Traffic conditions will improve once the Busan Internal Circulation (Mandeok~Centum) urban expressway construction is completed. There are also many favorable factors such as the relocation of the Haeundae-gu new government office to an adjacent site.
A Lotte Construction official said, "'Le L River Park Centum' is the first apartment complex to showcase Lotte Construction's high-end brand Le L in Busan," adding, "We will do our best to create a landmark in Busan beyond Haeundae based on the construction know-how that Lotte Construction has accumulated."
