Dongducheon-si Holds Temporary Meeting of Policy Advisory Committee

Park Hyung-deok, Mayor of Dongducheon, is holding a temporary meeting of the Policy Advisory Committee in the city hall situation room on the 30th.

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) announced on the 31st that it held a temporary meeting of the Policy Advisory Committee in the city hall situation room on the 30th.

The temporary meeting was held to gather diverse opinions from experts in various fields ahead of establishing the "Mid- to Long-term Development Plan," which aims to set the future direction of Dongducheon City in response to changing internal and external conditions and to incorporate systematic development across the city.

During this temporary meeting, various measures for the development of Dongducheon City were proposed in fields such as economy, culture, tourism, transportation, and urban planning. Based on these, the committee shared in-depth opinions on issues and feasibility.

Meanwhile, the Policy Advisory Committee consists of private experts appointed through public recruitment and recommendations.

These experts were appointed to strengthen proposals and advisory roles regarding Dongducheon City's development strategies and policy directions, as well as to complement the professionalism of the administration across various fields.

Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon City stated, "We will carefully review the diverse opinions and policies of the Policy Advisory Committee members to serve as a foundation for the development of Dongducheon City," and added, "We ask for continuous interest and cooperation in not only serving as a communication channel with citizens through the activities of the Policy Advisory Committee but also complementing the professionalism of the administration as private experts."
