Jung Baek-jae, CEO of Hyundai L&C, has been appointed as the CEO of mattress specialist company Zinus on the 31st. The newly appointed CEO Jung will be tasked with strengthening Zinus's global competitiveness.

Born in 1969, the new CEO Jung Baek-jae majored in Business Administration at Konkuk University and joined Hyundai Department Store in 1996. He served as the Head of Finance at Hyundai Everdigm (Managing Director) and Head of Business Strategy at Hyundai L&C (Managing Director). Last year, he was promoted to Executive Director and took on the role of CEO at Hyundai L&C.
Hyundai Department Store Group stated, "CEO Jung Baek-jae has served as the Head of Finance at Hyundai Everdigm, which focuses on global business, as well as the Head of Business Strategy and CEO at Hyundai L&C," adding, "Based on his know-how in the global market, he is considered the right person to strengthen Zinus's global competitiveness."
