On the 30th, Sindorim Technomart Hosts Guro-gu's First Job Vision Proclamation Ceremony
Job Creation and Regional Economic Revitalization through Mutual Cooperation of Government-Industry-Academia Governance
On the 30th, Guro-gu held the '2024 Guro-gu Job Vision Proclamation Ceremony' along with a job fair and an award ceremony for excellent job-creating companies at Sindorim Technomart.
The district announced that it organized the 'Job Vision Proclamation Ceremony' for the first time in Guro-gu to pledge the development of local industries and economic growth through governance among local governments, industries, and universities.
About 100 people attended the proclamation ceremony, including Eom Euishik, Acting Mayor of Guro-gu, the Chairman of the Federation of Businessmen, and the President of Dongyang Mirae University. They read a declaration to strengthen the mutual cooperation system among the district, local companies, universities, and related organizations and to reaffirm their commitment to continuous job creation.
The declaration stated that Guro-gu will provide administrative and financial support to create quality jobs that meet the demands of the times and society. Local companies pledged their commitment to continuous job creation for community growth, and local universities promised to focus on nurturing future talents through communication and cooperation with companies.
A Guro-gu official said, "This Job Vision Proclamation Ceremony is a meaningful event held for the first time in Guro-gu for the development of the local community," adding, "We will continue to provide better jobs and create an environment where companies can nurture the talents they need through cooperation with companies and schools."
In addition, before the Job Vision Proclamation Ceremony, Guro-gu held an 'Award Ceremony for Excellent Job-Creating Companies' and presented certificates and plaques to 23 outstanding local companies that made efforts to increase employment and improve the employment environment.
Companies certified as excellent will receive various policy supports during the certification period (two years from the certification date), such as exemption from local tax audits and preferential loan support. They will also be given priority when participating in various support projects, including the SME workation support project and the Guro-gu job fair.
Also, a 'Job Fair' was held simultaneously, providing job seekers with employment opportunities through on-site interviews, job counseling, vocational psychological tests, mock interview consulting, and recruitment information as part of employment support services.
