Samsung C&T Corporation's Construction Division announced on the 30th that its operating profit for the third quarter of this year was 236 billion KRW, a 22% decrease compared to the same period last year.
During the same period, sales amounted to 4.482 trillion KRW, down 15%. Including the Fashion, Trading, and Resort divisions, Samsung C&T's total sales reached 10.31 trillion KRW, with an operating profit of 736 billion KRW. These represent decreases of 6% and 11.3%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
A Samsung C&T representative explained, "The Construction division's sales and operating profit decreased compared to the same period last year due to the completion of large-scale domestic and overseas projects."
