Mural Volunteer Group Talent Donation, Creation of Mural on Center Exterior Wall
The Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (Director Choi Deok-geun) held a mural painting event on the 30th at two local day and night care centers under the theme "Happy Old Age in the Place You Live with Care Experts."
This mural painting was planned to emphasize the professionalism of care workers and increase the friendliness of the day and night care centers by depicting "care experts conducting programs with elderly people experiencing cognitive decline" on the exterior walls of the centers.
A nearby resident said, "The exterior walls of the day and night care center are filled with bright paintings, which made me stop and watch," adding, "It made me think that when I become elderly, I would like to spend a happy old age through professional programs at a day and night care center."
Director Choi Deok-geun stated, "With a heart of communication and consideration, we will lead win-win cooperation with providers and continuously strive to improve the quality of services by enhancing the treatment of care workers so that elderly people can spend a happy old age in the place they have lived."
