Namyangju City Promotes Jeong Yak-yong City Namyangju with ASMR and Live Content Namyangju City is creating content in the form of ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) featuring the sounds of the region's beautiful scenery to build the Jeong Yak-yong brand.

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 30th that it has officially launched the Jeong Yak-yong brand by producing content in the form of ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) featuring the sounds of the region's beautiful scenery.


This project is part of the Gyeonggi Content Agency's "Regional Specialized Content Development Support Production Project," and in collaboration with Magenta Company Co., Ltd., it has created an archive service of Namyangju's culture, including the heritage of Jeong Yak-yong, which is available for free download.


The archive service was produced using backgrounds of Namyangju's representative landmarks such as △Jeong Yak-yong Historic Site △Majae Village △Ungilsan Mountain △Sujongsa Temple △Bongseonsa Temple, and consists of 6 themes and 10 pieces of content.


The main programs include △Live 'Dasan's Autumn' △Stories (愛民) of the people loved by Dasan △'Taste of Food' from Dasan's Eight Principles of Life △Strolling through Dasan's 'Life' △'Tea (茶)' loved by Dasan △'Taste of Occupation' from Dasan's Eight Principles of Life, among others.


In particular, on the 25th, the city presented the first live broadcast titled Live 'Dasan's Autumn' set against the Water Garden. The performance featured the Gyeonggi DN Orchestra (Director Jo Eun-ryeong) and bassoonist Yoon So-hee, offering the beautiful autumn atmosphere of Namyangju. The broadcast was live-streamed on the YouTube channels ‘NamyangjuTV’ (Namyangju City's official YouTube channel) and ‘SOKON’.


The second performance of Live 'Dasan's Autumn' is scheduled to take place on the 31st at 2 p.m. at Dasan Ecological Park, featuring a violin performance by Park Byung-seok.


A city official stated, “We hope that the beautiful cultural resources of Namyangju as the city of Jeong Yak-yong and his heritage will be widely known,” adding, “We will continue to promote Namyangju City through the development of various contents for the Jeong Yak-yong branding.”
