Goyang City Successfully Hosts Goyang IR Day in the Second Half of the Year

Creating a Platform for Communication Between Startup Companies and Investors... Full of Startup Enthusiasm

Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, is delivering a greeting at the "2024 Second Half Goyang IR Day" held on the 29th.

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 30th that it successfully held the ‘2024 Second Half Goyang IR (Investor Relations) Day’ at the Ilsandong-gu Office main conference room on the 29th.

The startup audition, 2024 Goyang IR Day, was organized to provide various opportunities for startup companies and featured diverse programs including investment-linked IR presentations and evaluations, networking, promotion of startup items, and startup and employment counseling.

Since August, the city recruited participating companies and selected 10 companies through document and presentation evaluations from 34 applicants. After conducting investment attraction training and mentoring, the city held investment evaluation presentations and networking through Goyang IR Day.

About ten venture investors and startup planners participated as judges, including representatives from Samsung, Hana Securities, and Goyang Venture Fund management companies.

Through the judges’ evaluations on the day, the startup companies △BiWave Co., Ltd. (AI mental health assessment and diagnosis service using biometric signals), △DoItPlanet (digital transformation AI solution based on corporate document data collection and analysis), and △Control M Co., Ltd. (F&B franchise through ‘food tech technology’ and ‘AI-DT solution’) won the Growth Award, Development Award, and Innovation Award, respectively.

The honorable mentions went to △YourNest (location-based cultural arts curation O2O platform), △BodyMap Co., Ltd. (mobile ultrasound muscle measurement device and management app), △MK1025 Co., Ltd. (modular system booths for a sustainable MICE industry), △EduInTech (AI customized career design service), △GP Trust (AD network through digital signage linkage between stores), △SulMeoDeunDa (traditional liquor preference AI analysis customized liquor recommendation and matching service), and △FL VS Co., Ltd. (short-distance location-based community flower trading platform).

The city plans to continue tailored follow-up management such as one-on-one investment consultations per company and linkage with startup support programs in the future.
