Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jae-hyuk) signed a business agreement on the 30th with the Andong Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Branch Chief Kim Doo-young) to establish a mutual cooperation system for the prevention of industrial accidents.
Both organizations agreed to thoroughly manage and implement essential elements in on-site safety management, such as "securing safety at industrial sites for the prevention of industrial accidents" and "specifying obligations to comply with the Industrial Safety and Health Act and the Serious Accidents Punishment Act."

Since January 27, the Serious Accidents Punishment Act has been fully enforced for workplaces with fewer than 50 employees. Accordingly, to establish themselves as exemplary clients and contractors, they promised to discover and implement support measures for the construction of safety and health management systems for construction companies and partner firms, and to continuously exchange information and provide technical support, including safety management know-how.
Lee Jae-hyuk, President of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, stated, “The foremost principle of management is ‘safety.’ We will take the lead in creating accident-free sites through active sharing of the know-how our corporation possesses, such as thorough process management and systematic on-site inspections for safety.
