Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province announced on the 30th that it will hold the "8th Yeoncheon-gun Education Expo" for two days from November 1st to 2nd at the outdoor plaza in front of Jeongok Station on Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 1.
This event, under the slogan "Thinking, Participating, and Inspiring Yeoncheon-gun Education Expo," will feature over 50 lifelong learning and edutech experience booths and a competition with about 15 learning clubs. Additionally, a vision declaration reading and proclamation ceremony will be held in conjunction with the selection of the pilot area for the Education Development Special Zone.
As a side event, the Village Learning Center Performance Presentation will exhibit educational programs operated by eight village learning centers, and 14 booths will offer hands-on experiences of outstanding programs, providing an opportunity to see the direction and achievements of the village learning centers, which are the main lifelong learning projects in Yeoncheon-gun.
The experience booths at the Education Expo are operated by local educational institutions and organizations and are completely free of charge. Participants who complete experiences at five or more booths will receive a small prize, promising a variety of experiences and memorable moments.
