MUSINSA announced on the 30th that it has newly appointed Jeon Junhee, a former executive from global big tech companies, as the head of the Tech Division.

Jeon Junhee, the newly appointed head of the Tech Division, co-founded ESTsoft in Korea and later gained extensive experience at big tech companies in Silicon Valley, USA, including roles as Director of Engineering for Google and YouTube platforms, Engineering Director at Uber, and Vice President of Engineering at Coupang.

The head of the Tech Division is the overall leader of the technical organization responsible for designing and driving the technology strategy and roadmap for the various platforms operated by MUSINSA. The new Tech Division head will oversee the entire tech organization of Team MUSINSA, which encompasses engineering, data, and product teams across all MUSINSA affiliates.

MUSINSA expects that the appointment of the new head of the Tech Division will secure synergy among platforms across its affiliates. Specialized AI technology is necessary for rapid platform development and operational efficiency. Currently, MUSINSA is rapidly expanding into new business areas including fashion platforms such as MUSINSA Store, 29CM, SoldOut, and MUSINSA Empty, as well as global and brand businesses, MUSINSA Logistics, and offline stores.
