Unifying the 'Bithumb' Brand Name and Slogan... Enhancing Intuitiveness and Recognition
Bithumb announced on the 30th that it has changed its company name from 'Bithumb Korea' to 'Bithumb'.
On the 30th of last month, Bithumb resolved the agenda for the name change at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and completed the name change procedure. The unification of the company name to 'Bithumb' aims to convey the brand value more intuitively to customers.
Along with the name change, a new Korean brand identity (BI) will also be introduced. It reflects the intention to enhance readability in Korean and to approach users more familiarly. The new Korean BI will be applied starting with the Bithumb app screen and later in various marketing activities.
Lee Jae-won, CEO of Bithumb, stated, "The name change represents Bithumb's commitment to providing user-centered services," adding, "We will continue to strive to offer more convenient and secure services."
