Kang Seung-hyeop, Executive Director and Head of Support Division at Shinsegae Property, was appointed as the new CEO of Shinsegae Food on the 30th.
CEO Kang graduated from Gyeongbok High School in 1989 and majored in Geography Education at Korea University.
He joined Shinsegae in 1995 and has held various positions including Head of Audit Team at Group Strategy Office, Executive Director in charge of Support at Shinsegae Construction, Executive Director in charge of Management at E-Mart, and Executive Director in charge of Finance as well as Head of Support Division at Gmarket.
Kang has been serving as Executive Director and Head of Support Division at Shinsegae Property since September last year. Through this personnel appointment, he will move to the position of CEO of an affiliate company after about a year.
