This meeting was organized to explain the progress of support systems promoted by the city, such as the basic remodeling plan and related ordinances, and to listen to the demands of the association heads.
Three associations that have received project plan approval, including Suji Bowon Apartment, Suji Choeip Village, and Suji Dongbu Apartment, as well as 10 associations preparing to apply for project plan approval, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Park Seong-geun, head of the Suji Bowon Apartment association, said, "To proceed with the remodeling project, various city reviews and approvals are required," and requested, "Please consider ways to expedite these processes so that the project can be promoted swiftly." A city official responded, "We will actively review the various opinions raised at the meeting with the relevant departments to ensure they are reflected."
The city is preparing remodeling support ordinances to facilitate the smooth progress of these projects. If the ordinances are enacted within this year, a 'Remodeling Support Center' will be established in the second half of next year to provide an institutional foundation for supporting projects such as association establishment and selection of service providers.
