Hanyang Securities analyzed on the 30th that the sneaker market, which had been overlooked, is experiencing explosive growth, and they are now truly realizing the popularity of the company's Le Mouton brand.
Researcher Lee Joon-seok of Hanyang Securities stated in a report that day, "The sales growth of Le Mouton is remarkable," and predicted, "Since Lingti achieved great success by reaching a cumulative sales volume of 100 million units through brand accelerating, the next success story will be the premium shoe brand 'Le Mouton.'"
Le Mouton is a premium shoe brand emphasizing comfortable wear and eco-friendly materials, pursuing both fashion and sustainability, gaining great popularity among consumers. Recently, due to increased demand from the MZ generation, consumption trends focused on comfort and practicality, digital marketing, and limited edition release strategies, sneaker brands' sales have surged dramatically.
The researcher added, "Le Mouton shows a repurchase rate of 35%, rapidly growing with sales of 21.19 billion KRW in 2023 and a cumulative 45.9 billion KRW up to September this year, significantly exceeding the 38.6 billion KRW sales forecast for 2024 made earlier this year," and forecasted, "There is a possibility of achieving the existing 80 billion KRW sales target for 2025 within this year, and sales are expected to reach approximately 250 billion KRW by 2027."
He analyzed, "On the 30th of last month, during a home shopping broadcast on CJ OnStyle, Le Mouton aimed to sell 12,000 pairs in a 60-minute slot but sold out 16,000 pairs within 30 minutes of the broadcast start, leading to an early end," and added, "Until now, the company had minimized advertising expenses, which sometimes caused shortcomings in promotion, but the sell-out in this home shopping event instantly dispelled concerns about Le Mouton's popularity."
Furthermore, he said, "Starting next year, the company plans to target the Japanese and North American markets, with the global shoe market reaching about 400 trillion KRW, indicating significant potential for overseas expansion," and added, "The company has proven its brand accelerating capability through Lingti's reference, and based on Lingti's stable sales foundation, overseas expansion of Le Mouton and sales growth of new brands are also expected."
