Goyang City Begins 4th Quarter Youth Basic Income Applications and Registrations Gyeonggi-do 4th Quarter Youth Basic Income Information.

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 30th that it will accept applications for the 4th quarter Youth Basic Income from October 31 to November 29 to promote social activities and guarantee social basic rights through regular income support for youth.


Youth Basic Income is a youth welfare policy that provides 250,000 KRW in card-type Goyang local currency (Goyang Pay) to 24-year-old youth who are registered residents of Goyang City as of the application date and have continuously lived in Gyeonggi Province for the past 3 years or more (or a total of 10 years or more).


The 4th quarter eligible recipients are those born between October 2, 1999, and October 1, 2000. Applicants must submit a resident registration abstract issued within the application period through the integrated job platform Jobaba system (or automatically submit the abstract using the public MyData function). After review, payments will be made sequentially starting December 20.


The local currency can be freely used at stores within Goyang City with IC card terminals and annual sales under 1 billion KRW (excluding large marts, department stores, corporate supermarkets, gas stations, entertainment establishments, etc.).
