Dobong-gu to Host Environmental Officials Climbing Competition on 28th... Jeongui Gongju Tomb to Jeongui Girls' Middle School Entrance Intersection Course
Dobong-gu (District Mayor Oh Eon-seok) held the ‘2024 Environmental Public Officials Hiking Competition’ around the Jeongui Princess Tomb area on the 28th.
The Environmental Public Officials Hiking Competition is held annually, hosted by the Environmental Public Officials Labor Union, to promote the health and morale of environmental public officials.
This year’s hiking competition followed a course starting from Jeongui Princess Tomb to Jeongui Girls’ Middle School Entrance Intersection.
The 89 environmental public officials who participated in the event enjoyed the autumn atmosphere while walking along the streets adorned with fall foliage. Environmental public official A said, “It was great to spend time communicating and talking together after a long time. I am leaving with great energy.”
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu who attended the event, said, “I deeply thank all the environmental public officials who work hard under difficult conditions for a clean and sanitary urban environment,” and promised, “We will continue to do our best to improve the safety and treatment of environmental public officials.”
The district is promoting various projects for the welfare of environmental public officials. These include support for health checkups, tetanus and flu vaccinations, domestic and international cultural inspections, provision of encouragement gifts on holidays and birthdays, child tuition loans, seasonal workwear support, and maintenance of rest areas, all designed to meet the practical needs of environmental public officials.
