Namyangju City Community Security Council, Successful Completion of Full Committee Workshop The Namyangju City Community Security Council has been conducting a workshop for about 100 members from the 28th to the 29th at Inje Speedium, Gangwon Province.

The Namyangju City Community Security Council (Public Chairman Joo Kwang-deok, Private Chairman Gong Sang-gil) held a workshop for about 100 members over one night and two days from the 28th to the 29th at Inje Speedium in Gangwon Province.


This workshop was the first event for the newly appointed council members with a two-year term starting last month. Under the theme of "Exciting Cooperation, Growing Together, Solidarity of Hope," the representative council, working council, and 10 working subcommittees pledged cooperation and growth for the local community with the launch of the 10th term.


In particular, on this day, existing members and new members reviewed the functions and roles of the Community Security Council once again, confirming what roles each should play within their respective meeting systems, and spent time envisioning cooperation and growth for the development of social security in Namyangju City.


Joo Kwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City and public chairman of the council, stated, "I hope this will be a meaningful time to share valuable opinions for the development of social security in Namyangju City based on the expertise and experience of each newly formed 10th term council member," and added, "I ask for continued active cooperation to make Namyangju a place where all citizens can be happy."


Gong Sang-gil, private co-chairman, said, "The Community Security Council will strive to serve as a focal point for public-private cooperation by creating a communication process where the private sector can effectively implement public policies and incorporate the voices of local residents into the community security plan."
