Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced on the 29th that it will hold the 'AWS Generative AI Loft Tour' at the Seoul Tipstown Global Startup Center for eight days from October 30 to November 6.
The tour aims to provide collaborative spaces and immersive experiences, offering innovation and community to developers, startups, and those interested in AI. Participants can learn how to implement generative AI technologies and engage with communities of technical and business experts.
According to Startup Genome, a global startup ecosystem evaluation organization, South Korea plans to raise venture capital investments totaling $8.4 billion, including a $6.2 billion venture fund for domestic startups by 2025. AWS has also supported Korean startups, including innovative AI companies such as Neosapience, Toss Lab, and Twelve Labs.
Participants in the Generative AI Loft Tour can learn about the latest generative AI models and services through workshops, hands-on training sessions, and demos from AWS and client companies, while networking with AI experts and leaders. The Generative AI Loft is part of AWS’s $230 million investment plan to help startups worldwide scale innovative generative AI solutions. At the Seoul Generative AI Loft, attendees can experience generative AI through 31 sessions offering technical immersion via customized workshops, business perspectives from entrepreneurs who built Korea’s top AI startups, and insights on generative AI from industry leaders. AWS clients such as Twelve Labs, Toss Lab, and Neosapience will showcase generative AI demos using Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker HyperPod.
