Free Education on November 13 at 2 PM in District Office Auditorium... First 300 Registrants via QR Code Pre-Registration
Invited Professor Seo Dae-cheol (Current Gangnam Pedro Hospital, Former Seoul Asan Hospital Neurointervention Clinic)
Various Symptoms and Manifestations of 'Cerebral Aneurysm', Asymptomatic Management, and On-site Q&A
Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that it will hold a "Health Promotion Special Lecture" on the topic of cerebrovascular disease "Cerebral Aneurysm" at 2 p.m. on November 13 in the district office auditorium to mark the season with large temperature differences.
The "Health Promotion Special Lecture" was newly established this year to spread accurate health information and encourage healthy lifestyle practices. In June and September, renowned academics such as professors from Seoul Asan Medical Center and Seoul National University delivered in-depth lectures on popular topics like slow aging and heart disease, receiving positive responses.
The district chose "Cerebral Aneurysm," a disease that requires extra caution during cold winds, as the third education topic. Cerebral aneurysm is a condition where part of a cerebral artery weakens and balloons like a balloon or a twisted pod, and if it ruptures, it can be very dangerous, making early detection and prompt response especially important.
Professor Seo Dae-cheol of Gangnam Bedro Hospital, an authority in neurointerventional medicine for cerebral aneurysms, will lead this special lecture. He will explain the various symptoms and manifestations of cerebral aneurysms, ways to manage asymptomatic cerebral aneurysms, and address residents’ questions during a Q&A session.
The lecture is free and open to any Songpa-gu residents interested in health. Pre-registration is required via phone or QR code, and up to 300 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Seo Gang-seok, Mayor of Songpa-gu, stated, “Social interest in accurate health information is increasing day by day. Reflecting the high demand from residents, we plan to invite experts from various fields to hold diverse health lectures next year as well. We will do our best to provide administrative support so that every resident can enjoy a healthy life.”
