iM Securities, 9 Participants Achieve Over 100% Profit in US Real Investment Competition Warm-up Session

iM Securities announced on the 29th that a total of 9 participants achieved a return of over 100% in the warm-up session of the U.S. stock practical investment competition.

iM Securities held the warm-up session of the practical investment competition from the 14th to the 25th of last month. The average return of all participants was 7.64%, and 9 participants recorded returns exceeding 100%. The top traded stocks included Nvidia, Tesla, Direxion Daily Semiconductor 3X Bear (SOXS) Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF), Amazon.com, and IonQ.


iM Securities will evenly distribute a prize of 20 million KRW among 169 participants who met the event requirement of a return of 3% or higher (approximately 120,000 KRW per person) and will also draw one winner to receive a round-trip airfare ticket to New York.


iM Securities' practical investment competition will continue with three distinctive sessions (each lasting two weeks) until December 6th. The competition status will be broadcast through the iM Securities website, Home Trading System (HTS), and Mobile Trading System (MTS).


The newly starting training session will run until the 8th of next month. It is divided into leagues by generation: 20s, 30s, and 40s and above. Each league’s top performer, who meets the turnover rate of 300% and asset requirement of 1 million KRW or more, will receive a prize of 2 million KRW. After the training session ends, a rank session, open only to training session participants, will be held for two weeks.


Anyone can participate in the practical investment competition by applying through the iM Securities website, MTS, or HTS until the 30th of next month. New account holders can also participate.
