Hanam Cultural Foundation (Chairman Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 28th that on the 27th, it held the 'Stage Hanam! Goodbye Performance WOW Hanam!' at the Misa Lake Park Lawn Plaza, marking the finale of this year's Stage Hanam (busking).
Now in its second year, Stage Hanam presented a more diverse range of genres and programs than last year under the theme "Hanam is now the center of K-Culture."
The Misa Lake Park Lawn Plaza, the venue for the goodbye performance, was filled with numerous spectators enjoying the final Stage Hanam of the deepening autumn night.
The performance featured three busker teams active in Hanam City, KPOP singer Kyungseo, and the legendary band Crying Nut, along with Hanam City's first-ever lighting performance combined with a DJ show.
The first performance was by the fusion gugak group K-Sori, who delighted the audience with lively tunes that crossed over with K-pop. The second stage featured the popera group Pasta, whose harmonies evoked the autumn night atmosphere.
Especially during the performance of Lee Moon-se's "Red Sunset," most of the audience responded by waving their phone flashlights and singing along.
The third stage was performed by the indie band Bigongjeong, active in Hanam City, who played Coldplay's "Fix You," creating a mood-filled autumn night.
Next, Hanam City’s first-ever lighting performance with famous DJ Mosh was spectacularly presented, prompting many spectators to stand and show enthusiastic responses.
The final stage featured K-pop performances by MZ generation singer Kyungseo with her fresh and clear voice, followed by legendary Korean rock band Crying Nut, who energized the venue with songs like "Maldalja" and "Jochi Anihana."
A resident, Mr. A, who attended the event, said, "It’s so joyful and fun to have such popular singers perform in Hanam City," adding, "I hope events like this happen more often."
Lee Hyun-jae, chairman of the Hanam Cultural Foundation and mayor of Hanam City, said, "We will widely promote Hanam as a cultural and artistic city advancing toward a global K-pop hub city, and continue to hold various cultural events for a young and vibrant city."
