Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Hosts the 8th President's Cup Sasang-gu Youth Badminton Tournament

Gyeongnam Information University held the "8th Gyeongnam Information University President's Cup Sasang-gu Badminton Association Youth Division Tournament" at the Minseok Sports Center on the 27th.

The tournament was attended by Kim Tae-sang, President of Gyeongnam Information University and tournament chairman; Yoo Young-hoon, President of the Sasang-gu Badminton Association Youth Division; Park Dong-soon, Chairman of Dongseo Academy; Kim Dae-sik, Member of the National Assembly; Kim Dong-ho, President of the Sasang-gu Badminton Association; Yoon Tae-han, Member of the Busan City Council; as well as university and association officials and about 200 club members from 12 local clubs.

Now in its 8th year, this tournament has been jointly hosted by Gyeongnam Information University and the Sasang-gu Badminton Association for the local community.

In his opening remarks, Kim Tae-sang, President of Gyeongnam Information University, said, “For the past 60 years, Gyeongnam Information University has been striving to give back the love it has received from local residents even more.” He added, “We will create many opportunities to communicate with residents through events like this tournament and become a university that fulfills its role in the harmony and development of the region.”
