Immediately after the accident, a fire broke out in the vehicle, and Mr. A was unable to escape and died at the scene. The fire was extinguished by firefighters who arrived following a witness report within about 10 minutes.
The accident is reported to have occurred when the vehicle, just exiting the tunnel, collided with the concrete central divider.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, considering the possibility that it was caused by driver negligence.
