On the first morning, the festival began with an art contest for elementary, middle, and high school students in the area, organized by the Art Association, followed by the opening ceremony of the Bobo Market, the lively Bisabeol cultural parade featuring traditional percussion, the local traditional ritual Hyangto Giyangje praying for regional development and well-being, and various performances and exhibitions, making it a richer and more splendid event than ever before.

The Upo Ttaogi Hanmaeum Market, expanded in scale compared to last year, saw participation from many agricultural organizations promoting local agricultural specialties. In particular, the Upo Ttaogi Hanmaeum Cooking Show led by Chef Jeong Ji-seon, famous as the Black and White Chef, attracted a large crowd, reflecting recent popularity.

Throughout the festival grounds, the Bobo Market along Changnyeongcheon was set up with photo, calligraphy, bonsai, wildflower, scholar's rock, traditional tea, and ornamental bird exhibition booths, experience booths, a flea market, and food trucks, filling the festival site with diverse crowds including families and couples.

The umbrella lanterns and floating lanterns along Changnyeongcheon, which enhanced the festival's dignity, were loved as wonderful photo zones for families and couples.

County Governor Seong Nak-in said, “Next year, we will prepare better programs and performances so that the Bisabeol Cultural Festival can continue to establish itself as a representative cultural festival of Changnyeong.”
