Available for Applications to Happy Housing, Purchased Rental, Permanent Rental, and National Rental

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 28th that it will officially introduce the ‘MyMy Service (My information! My home! Service)’, which significantly reduces the documents required when applying for rental housing, after completing a pilot operation.

The MyMy Service is a non-face-to-face online rental housing supply service utilizing the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s ‘Public MyData’. When applying for rental housing, applicants no longer need to visit each institution to obtain documents; submitting a ‘Consent to Provide Personal Information’ alone completes the submission of all required documents.

The Public MyData is a project promoted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to realize a ‘Smart Digital Platform Government’. It is applied in various areas such as opening deposit and savings accounts and student loan services.

After verifying the safety of the MyMy Service through the pilot operation, LH expanded and reorganized the service to allow submission of a total of 41 types of documents at once, adding 8 types including family relation certificates to the original 33 linked personal information types.

In addition, not only the applicant but also household members living together according to the resident registration can submit various documents through the ‘Public MyData Provision Request’.

The MyMy Service can be used from the 28th when applying for Happy Housing, Purchased Rental, Permanent Rental, and National Rental types. It can be used not only for new contracts but also for re-supply and preliminary contracts. The Jeonse Rental and Integrated Public Rental types will be applied from next year after system construction and pilot projects.

Ko Byung-wook, Head of LH’s Housing Welfare Headquarters, stated, “We expect that the MyMy Service will reduce the hassle and inconvenience for customers applying for rental housing and greatly improve LH’s work speed and convenience.”
