Yangju City held the '2024 Yangju City Job Fair' on the 25th at the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center. Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 28th that the 2024 Yangju Job Fair, held at the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center on the 25th, was successfully concluded.
This fair was co-hosted by Yangju City and Seojeong University HIVE Project, with about 1,000 local job seekers participating to explore various employment opportunities. More than 20 outstanding companies participated, providing job seekers with job-specific recruitment information, conducting on-site interviews and hiring, resulting in active recruitment and job-seeking activities.
In particular, the Employment Support Center offered side events such as one-on-one customized employment counseling, fingerprint aptitude tests, and resume photo shoots, receiving great responses from participants and helping them prepare effectively for employment.
The fair also featured a flea market selling local food and various products, offering participants a unique enjoyment. The combination of local specialties and diverse products contributed to revitalizing the local economy and provided citizens with a rich experience.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun said, “This fair provided practical employment opportunities for job seekers and a good chance for companies to discover talented individuals,” adding, “We plan to expand various programs that enable mutual growth between job seekers and companies in the future.”
