Osan City Successfully Hosts 'Solo Man Osan!' Meeting for Single Men and Women

Held in Oido and Daebudo Areas... 40 Participants

On the 28th, Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it successfully held the singles meeting event "Solo (SOLO) Only Osan!" on the 26th, attended by 40 unmarried men and women from the Oido and Daebudo areas.

Held for the second time following September, this event was organized to provide a healthy and natural opportunity for interaction between unmarried men and women of marriageable age, aiming to foster a positive change in perceptions about marriage and create a family-friendly social atmosphere.

The city selected participants through a lottery among applicants aged 23 to 39 who are either Osan residents or work in Osan. Additionally, participants were required to submit personal information consent forms, employment certificates, business registration certificates, and detailed marriage relationship certificates to ensure a thorough identity verification process.

The city added that the event was especially well-received as it was designed as a travel-style program incorporating emotional cultural activities, resulting in high participant satisfaction. During the event, 11 couples were formed through speed dating, one-on-one rotation conversations, dating coaching, various dating missions, and couple games.

Osan Mayor Ikwon Jae stated, "The city will continue to make administrative efforts so that young people can dream of a better future and enjoy a stable life."

The Osan City singles meeting event is held three times this year, with the third session scheduled for December.
