[Concall] LG Energy Solution "4Q, 'Seasonal Impact' Will Make Profitability Improvement Difficult"

On the 28th, LG Energy Solution stated during its Q3 earnings conference call that "sales in Q4 are expected to be similar to the previous quarter," but added that "due to inventory adjustments by automakers, high-margin products will be affected, making it difficult to improve profitability compared to Q3."

Regarding next year's outlook, the company explained, "We believe that geopolitical uncertainties and the upcoming U.S. presidential election will have a significant impact on the battery industry. However, there are also positive factors such as stricter carbon emission regulations in Europe and improved demand."

It further added, "LG Energy Solution will continue to secure an advantage in product and cost competitiveness," and "by enhancing quality capabilities and focusing on rebalancing centered on differentiated customer value, we will secure a robust fundamental position."
