Samsung E&A Shares Warm Communication Time with Employees and Their Families

'GEC Family Invitation Event' Held
About 700 Employees and Family Members Attended

Samsung E&A announced on the 28th that it held the 'GEC Family Invitation Event' for employees on the 19th and 26th. The event took place at the Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Sangil-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. About 700 people from 200 employee families attended. The families visited the company, toured the work environment where their parents and children work, and experienced various areas of the company.

Since 2023, Samsung E&A has been holding family invitation events to promote harmony and balance between work and home, as well as a healthy organizational culture. Encouraged by the high interest and positive response from employees, the event was expanded to a total of four sessions annually, held in both the first and second halves of the year, and it is reported that the competition for participation remains intense.

The event began by welcoming families with employee family photos and welcome messages displayed in the lobby. Then, employees and their families toured various parts of the office building, including the walking trail, rooftop garden, and PR center, while completing a stamp relay mission. They also visited individual workspaces, where employees introduced their work and the company to their families.

Additionally, employees and their families created memories by taking photos at photo zones and self-photo booths set up throughout the building. They shared a meal together in the company cafeteria, fostering communication. The event concluded with a magic show that received enthusiastic responses from the children, and attending families were presented with honorary employee ID cards and commemorative gifts.

A Samsung E&A representative said, "We hope this was a meaningful time for families to understand the company where their parents and children work and to create precious memories." They added, "We will continue to strive to create an environment where employees can take pride in the company and dedicate themselves to their work."
