SK Shielders Obtains International Certification ISO 37301 for Compliance Management System

International Certification for Company-wide Management Norms and Risk Response System

SK Shieldus announced on the 28th that it has obtained the international certification for compliance management systems, ‘ISO 37301’. ISO 37301 is a certification system that evaluates whether a company’s processes and management systems for identifying and managing compliance-related risks meet international standards. The Korea Compliance Certification Institute comprehensively reviews the establishment of compliance systems required by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and related compliance expertise to grant the certification.

SK Shieldus provides security services covering both online and offline environments in homes, workplaces, and public facilities, making the laws and regulations it must comply with complex and extensive. Despite this business portfolio, SK Shieldus has established and operates a systematic compliance risk prevention system, and its achievements were recognized through this certification.

At the certificate presentation ceremony for the Compliance Management System (ISO 37301) held on the 25th at the SK Shieldus Samsung-dong headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Hong Won-pyo, CEO of SK Shieldus (right), and Lee Won-gi, Director of the Korea Compliance Certification Institute, are taking a commemorative photo.

Since April this year, SK Shieldus has formed a compliance management task force to establish regulations and guidelines for operating the compliance management system, and enhanced the risk diagnosis and management system through training for internal members. It also strengthened compliance inspection activities related to the Subcontracting Act, Security Services Act, Industrial Safety and Health Act, and Personal Information Protection Act.

SK Shieldus plans to use this certification as an opportunity to build a more advanced compliance management system and proactively manage compliance risks that may arise in various business areas, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and continuing sustainable growth.
