Free Training Linked to Recruitment... Practical Project Execution
Graduates Receive Benefits of Passing New Employee Document Screening
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia are recruiting software development talents in line with their transition to a software-defined vehicle (SDV) development system.
On the 28th, Hyundai Motor Company and Kia announced that they are recruiting participants for the 5th cohort of the recruitment-linked training program, 'Softier Bootcamp,' until the 13th of next month.
In this recruitment, a total of 75 people will be selected across four fields: ▲Web development ▲service planning ▲design ▲data engineering. Eligible applicants are those who graduated from domestic or international universities as of September this year or are expected to graduate by August next year. Applications can be submitted through the official Softier Bootcamp website.
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia will select candidates with basic coding skills and fundamental software knowledge through an online evaluation without a separate interview, and will operate the training program free of charge for a total of eight weeks starting from January next year.
Participants will take one month of theoretical education followed by a practical team project. The team project is designed to allow participants to directly experience the development work processes performed in actual field operations. The results will be evaluated directly by Hyundai Motor Company and Kia’s working-level staff.
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia operate a 'meet-up' program where current developers and participants can meet and interact, providing opportunities such as work introductions and career counseling.
High-performance laptops, developer tools, and other equipment and software necessary for training will be provided to trainees, and outstanding graduates may receive separate awards.
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia also offer new hire recruitment linkage benefits for Softier Bootcamp participants. Graduates will have the opportunity to join Hyundai Motor Company and Kia in roles such as ▲software developer ▲service planner ▲UI designer ▲data engineer through an interview process without a separate document screening.
Jin Eun-sook, Vice President of ICT at Hyundai Motor Company and Kia, said, "The Softier Bootcamp is a project-centered education program that provides university students with the opportunity to experience a collaborative environment similar to actual work," adding, "We will continue to nurture talents who combine both theory and practice to contribute to building a developer ecosystem."
