"Since the child will eat it too, sensibly add one more piece of meat"
"If not given, will attack with 1-star review"
A delivery customer who claimed to be a 'power blogger' caused controversy by demanding unreasonable services from a restaurant and threatening to carry out a star rating attack if their demands were not met.
On the 28th, various online communities posted a message titled 'Order requests at a Busan pork cutlet restaurant written by a power blogger.' This was a video of an order sheet posted on the social media (SNS) of a pork cutlet restaurant in Busan that became a hot topic.
The revealed order sheet showed a delivery customer ordering one pork cutlet set meal priced at 9,900 won, with a request stating, "I won't eat it unless the batter is 1 cm thick. Since a child will eat it too, please be sensible and add one more piece of meat. I am a power blogger. Promise 5 stars. If not, I will carry out a 1-star attack."
The restaurant owner lamented, "This kind of thing happens even at our store. I am having a really hard time these days. Please stop doing this." Netizens who saw the story responded with various comments such as, "How much profit does the store make selling a 9,900 won pork cutlet? Please stop doing this," "Problematic customers should be designated as black consumers by the delivery app," "If they order like that, the store should just refuse the order," and "There are all kinds of difficult customers."

This is not the first time some consumers have used reviews or star ratings as weapons to make unreasonable demands on small business owners. In 2021, a customer's review caused controversy after ordering a spicy dish, Malatang, to be cooked without spiciness. After finishing the meal, the customer left a one-star rating saying, "I asked for it to be made completely non-spicy because I was eating with a baby, but a spicy dish arrived, and when I called the store, they only said it was made less spicy than the mild version." They added, "I couldn't even get an apology, and they said they would remake it if I wanted," expressing, "It was absurd and really upsetting."
Also, in June, a store owner was threatened by a customer who said they would carry out a star rating attack if they did not receive three servings of food for their child as a free service. The owner revealed the order sheet containing the customer's delivery requests, saying, "I got so angry after seeing what a customer wrote in the delivery requests today that I almost lost my mind."
According to the order sheet, a customer wrote in the delivery requests, "Please remove peanuts, almonds, and pine nuts. Please give three servings of soup as a free service for my baby. If not, I will give one star." The owner lamented, "In the end, I canceled the order (refused delivery), and the food we made was shared among the staff. It is really hard to run a business."
