The 'Policy Real-Name System' is a system that designates projects with high public interest and significant impact on urban development as key management targets, making the participants and detailed implementation plans publicly available. Although the Ministry of the Interior and Safety recommends more than 30 projects, the city explained that it has expanded the number of key management projects to ▲57 in 2021 ▲56 in 2022 ▲60 in 2023 to enhance administrative credibility.

A representative project subject to the Policy Real-Name System is the reconstruction of the Yongin Public Bus Terminal. Built in 1992 and now aging, the project aims to modernize the terminal into a 2,881㎡ facility with one basement floor and two above-ground floors, with a total investment of 17.226 billion KRW. The terminal will include a waiting room, ticket office, management office, and commercial facilities, and is scheduled for completion within the year.

The city also selected six major municipal agenda projects, such as the construction of the 'Dongbu Area Women's Welfare Center (tentative name)' and the creation of the 'Farm&Forest Town,' as well as 35 projects with self-funded investments exceeding 2 billion KRW, including the relocation and construction of the Yongin City Soccer Center, as subjects of the real-name system.

The city plans to post the projects selected for the Policy Real-Name System on its website within this month. Separately, the city will also accept 'National Application Real-Name System' requests from citizens. Policies for which information disclosure is desired can be applied for by mail or email to the City Policy Planning Division.

A city official said, "Through the Policy Real-Name System, we will enhance transparency in the policy decision-making and implementation process," adding, "We will actively collect citizens' opinions to carry out better municipal administration."
