It was reported on the 26th that the police have forwarded to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment five individuals who distributed a so-called 'Sam-il Cheonha Kim Ok-gyun Project' leaflet containing content that the Chin Yoon (pro-Yoon Seok-yeol) faction was conspiring for the early downfall of Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency recently sent five people who created and spread the 'Sam-il Cheonha Kim Ok-gyun Project' leaflet during the July 23 People Power Party convention to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on charges of defamation.

The leaflet contains content likening the three-day rule of the Gapsin Coup led by reformists including Kim Ok-gyun in the late Joseon Dynasty, suggesting that if Representative Han is elected, the pro-Yoon faction including Representative Lee Cheol-gyu is planning an early downfall.
Representative Lee filed a complaint with the police in July requesting an investigation into the distributors of the leaflet. Separately from this indictment, Representative Lee plans to pursue a civil lawsuit holding them accountable for the publication of false information.
