About 30 staff members from Yeosu Office of Education visited the inclusive education support office for mutual exchange, introduced the current status of education in each office, shared excellent local education programs, and established a cooperative network.

The two institutions had a time of win-win cooperation to expand opportunities for exchanging educational information between Yeosu and Pohang by sharing major tasks and distinctive educational activities. They visited Heunghae West Elementary School, a school involved in the Gyeongbuk school space restructuring project, and the Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education’s Gyeongju Safety Experience Center to strengthen safety response capabilities and explore ways to support school safety education.

Choi Hanyong, Superintendent of Pohang Office of Education, said, “I deeply appreciate the visit of the Yeosu Office of Education superintendent and staff to Pohang. I hope this exchange will become an opportunity for cooperation and mutual growth between Yeosu and Pohang.”

Baek Dohyun, Superintendent of Yeosu Office of Education, stated, “Pohang and Yeosu have very similar natural environments and regional conditions. I hope to share excellent local education cases and human and material resources, and through active exchanges, to jointly envision future education in harmony with the community.”
