In this regard, President Zelensky called it a "clear escalation" and urged the West to apply "substantial pressure" on Russia and North Korea.
The previous day, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense Intelligence Directorate announced that North Korean troops were spotted on the 23rd in Kursk, mainland Russia, where Ukrainian forces are conducting operations.
