Great Help for Job Seekers through Employment Special Lectures, Startup Mentoring, and Various Side Events
The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 25th that the '2024 Guri City Job Fair' was successfully held on the 24th at the Guri City Gymnasium (131, Guri City Cheyuk-gwan-ro).
This job fair was hosted by Guri City and jointly organized by the Guri City Job Center and Guri Women's New Work Center, with support from the Guri Youth Tomorrow Center, Guri Employment Welfare+ Center, and Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation.
Job seekers who visited the event had the opportunity to convey reliability and sincerity beyond their resumes through one-on-one on-site interviews, while recruiting companies actively sought talent by sharing their recruitment information and vision.
One participant said, "It was very valuable to have the chance to meet and talk directly with HR managers. It was very beneficial to personally highlight my strengths and receive immediate feedback on my questions."
Additionally, the event featured ▲startup booths to create jobs through entrepreneurship ▲promotion booths of city-affiliated organizations such as job-related institutions and the Workers' Comprehensive Support Center ▲various side events including resume photo shoots, personal color consulting, fingerprint aptitude tests, resume/self-introduction consulting, and new industry employment consulting ▲and a special employment lecture on the theme of 'Personal Branding,' which received enthusiastic responses from participants.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri said, "I hope this fair provided a positive experience for job seekers, and we will continue to promote various projects and policies to create more employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in the future."
