KB Kookmin Bank Guri Comprehensive Financial Center donated 2 million KRW to the Guri Cultural Foundation for cultural promotion on the 24th. KB Kookmin Bank Guri Comprehensive Financial Center (hereinafter Kookmin Bank) announced on the 25th that it donated 2 million KRW as a cultural promotion sponsorship to the Guri Cultural Foundation on the 24th.
The sponsorship donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Jin Hwaja, CEO of the Guri Cultural Foundation, Yoon Sungjin, team leader of KB Kookmin Bank Guri Comprehensive Financial Center, and others. This is the second sponsorship as part of the three-year business agreement signed in June 2022.
The sponsorship funds will be used for the Guri Cultural Foundation’s ‘Dream Orchestra Guri’.
Now in its fourth year, ‘Dream Orchestra Guri’ is an arts education program that supports children and adolescents in learning various musical instruments and participating in orchestra ensemble activities to develop community-oriented character and grow into healthy citizens.
The 2024 regular concert of ‘Dream Orchestra Guri’ is scheduled to be held at Guri Art Hall on November 16, and members of ‘Dream Orchestra Hanam’ will join through an exchange with the Hanam Cultural Foundation.
Jin Hwaja, CEO of the Guri Cultural Foundation, said, “We are grateful to KB Kookmin Bank Guri Comprehensive Financial Center for sponsoring the cultural promotion of Guri City, and the sponsorship funds will be used for arts education projects for children and adolescents who lack opportunities for arts education.”
Meanwhile, the Guri Cultural Foundation has been designated as a tax-deductible donation organization since August 2021, and operates a donation and sponsorship system to promote ‘Beautiful Sharing that Helps Everyone Grow’ by establishing a fundraising system.
