Maintenance fees for apartments consisting of one or two buildings with about 100 households can now be viewed on the Public Housing Management Information System (K-apt) operated by the Korea Real Estate Board.

On the 25th, the Korea Real Estate Board announced that, following the enforcement of the revised Public Housing Management Act Enforcement Decree, the obligation to disclose maintenance fees on K-apt has been expanded to multi-family housing with 100 or more households.

Previously, the mandatory disclosure of maintenance fees applied to multi-family housing with 300 or more households, or 150 or more households if equipped with elevators or central (regional) heating.

Maintenance fees incurred from September of this year will be disclosed. Managers of multi-family housing with 100 or more households must disclose the details of the maintenance fees on K-apt by the end of the month following the month in which the fees were charged.
