SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance Busan Gyeongnam Headquarters (Head Choi Hyuk-jae) donated 10 million KRW to Yangsan City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center and 5 million KRW to Sanghabuk Comprehensive Social Welfare Center on the 24th at the Yangsan City Hall Vice Mayor's Office to support vulnerable children and adolescents in the region.
On the 24th, SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance Busan-Gyeongnam Headquarters delivered scholarships to support vulnerable children and adolescents in the Yangsan city area.
Attending the donation ceremony were Cho Hyun-ok, Vice Mayor of Yangsan City; Choi Hyuk-jae, Head of SGI Seoul Guarantee Busan Gyeongnam Headquarters; Kim Young-chul, Senior of Busan Gyeongnam Headquarters; Lee Soo-cheol, Branch Manager of SGI Seoul Guarantee Dongnae Branch; Kim Chan-dong, Director of Yangsan City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center; and Lee Jung-won, Director of Sanghabuk Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
Head Choi Hyuk-jae said, “We hope SGI Seoul Guarantee’s scholarship will be a small help to vulnerable children and adolescents in the local community,” adding, “SGI Seoul Guarantee will continue to pursue warm coexistence in the community across various fields and practice the value of sharing.”
Vice Mayor Cho Hyun-ok of Yangsan City expressed gratitude, saying, “The donated scholarship will be a great support for the healthy growth of our local youth and the cultivation of talent.”
The donation will be provided as new semester support scholarships to low-income elementary, middle, and high school students through the welfare centers.
