Through this partnership, Megazone Cloud will supply Palo Alto Networks' cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP), Prisma Cloud, in the form of managed security services in Korea as an MSSP. This means that cloud security specialist engineers will directly manage and operate customers' asset risk factors.
Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Cloud is one of the most widely used solutions in the cloud security market.
Unlike traditional resellers, MSSPs provide services beyond simple sales in the form of managed security services. Companies lacking related technical personnel or small-scale businesses can simultaneously reduce costs and secure security stability through professional security management by MSSPs.
With this agreement, Megazone Cloud has secured the sole Prisma Cloud MSSP status in Korea. By specializing in managed security service operations, it plans to secure a unique competitive edge in the cloud security market as a cloud security service provider beyond product distribution.
Hwang In-cheol, CEO of Megazone Cloud, said, "Through this strategic cooperation, Megazone Cloud can expand its business beyond the infrastructure domain to managed security services for cloud-native workloads and container environments. As a total cloud service company, we will contribute to providing safer and stronger cloud security environments to domestic and international customers."
