Bando Cultural Foundation announced on the 25th that it will hold an art humanities lecture by art essayist So-Young Lee on the 16th of next month.
The lecture will take place at Ivy Lounge, a complex cultural space within the commercial facility of the ‘Dongtan Station Bando Yubora’ brand in Dongtan 2 New Town. Any adult residing in Seoul or Gyeonggi can apply. Registration is open from the 25th to the 30th on the Bando Cultural Foundation website.
In the lecture, So-Young Lee will introduce various painters’ works and lives through her book Paintings Are Comfort. So-Young Lee is the author of A Life Painting a Day and The Museum Taken Out of the Drawer, and she is actively engaged in popularizing art. Adults living in Seoul or Gyeonggi are eligible to apply for the lecture.
Bando Cultural Foundation also offers a picture frame rental service so that people can enjoy art appreciation at home.
