KAIST announced on the 25th that a research team led by Professor Lee Eui-jin from the School of Computing recently received the Best Paper Award at the ACM Ubiquitous Computing Conference held in Melbourne, Australia.
This conference is an international event where leading universities and global companies present the latest research results on ubiquitous computing and wearable technology in the field of human-computer interaction.

The Best Paper Award selection committee chose 8 outstanding papers out of 205 published in Volume 7 of the ACM journal PACM IMWUT. The committee consists of 16 current and former editorial board members of the journal. The selection of outstanding papers is decided after about a month of careful deliberation by the committee.
The research team received the Best Paper Award for their paper titled "Understanding the Decline in Engagement with Timely Mobile Health Interventions." The paper details the research process and results conducted by Dr. Park Jun-young, the first author, who graduated from the KAIST Graduate School of Data Science.
Meanwhile, this research was supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
