Chairperson Choi Hojung of Seoul Metropolitan Council Meets with Union Chairpersons of 13 Seoul Investment and Contribution Institutions

On the 23rd, Choi Hojung, Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, met with the union chairpersons of 13 Seoul city investment and contribution institutions to listen to their on-site voices.

The meeting was attended by the union chairpersons of ▲Seoul Transportation Corporation ▲Seoul Facilities Corporation ▲Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation ▲Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation ▲Seoul Energy Corporation ▲Seoul Medical Center ▲Seoul Business Agency ▲Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation ▲Seoul Welfare Foundation ▲Seoul Tourism Foundation ▲Seoul 50 Plus Foundation ▲Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture ▲Integrated Seoul Research Institute.

The standing secretary of the Seoul City Investment and Contribution Institutions Labor-Management-Government Council, which plays a role in resolving labor-management issues through dialogue and compromise among labor, management, and government, also attended the meeting.

The union side expressed hope that systems supporting work-family balance would be well established even within the investment and contribution institutions.

They also requested that the council pay attention to ensuring that budgets and personnel accompanying new projects are appropriately allocated.

Chairperson Choi Hojung said, “It is a meaningful occasion to hear the vivid stories from the field,” adding, “Workers serving Seoul citizens must be safe and happy for Seoul citizens themselves to be safe and happy, and the Seoul Metropolitan Council will carefully oversee and support this.”
