Lieutenant Jeong Jae-min, who earned the honor of winning the women's championship, is currently serving in the Investigation Division at Iksan Police Station. She is the first female police officer from the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency to win this title.

Corporal Jeon Mi-deum, who achieved the men's championship, works in the Women and Juvenile Division at Jeonju Deokjin Police Station. Although he ranked first in the preliminaries at last year's competition, he narrowly missed the podium. Through dedicated effort, Corporal Jeon secured the championship this year.

Lieutenant Jeong Jae-min and Corporal Jeon Mi-deum received the Commissioner of Police Award, medals, and trophies, along with special promotion opportunities. Additionally, Police Officer Shin Song-ha (female), who placed 4th in judo, and Lieutenant Oh Geum-tae, who reached the quarterfinals in kendo, also elevated the prestige of the Jeonbuk Police.

A representative of the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency stated, "The joint victory by both men and women is the first of its kind since the establishment of the National Police Agency and holds great significance," adding, "This victory brings valuable results to the Jeonbuk Agency for the first time in five years since the men's championship in 2019."
