About 50 participants, including Daesung Energy executives and employees, Daegu City and district offices, the Daegu Regional Headquarters of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and the Suseong Fire Station of the Daegu Fire Safety Headquarters, took part in the drill, creating a realistic scenario.
The drill focused on responding to gas leak fires and industrial accidents caused by damage to medium-pressure city gas pipelines due to excavation work, emphasizing ▲the comprehensive situation room’s ability to receive reports and respond to on-site situations ▲disaster stage-specific responses and rapid recovery capabilities ▲the situation room’s ability to quickly communicate situations to relevant agencies ▲and on-site control capabilities such as evacuation and rescue of people.
Park Moon-hee, CEO of Daesung Energy, said, “Through repeated drills applying various scenarios similar to real situations, we will establish a rapid initial response and recovery system to protect customer safety and citizens’ property.”
Daesung Energy, dedicated to on-site safety management and the safe supply of city gas and hydrogen, is practicing ESG management by utilizing advanced digital technologies such as strengthening the comprehensive situation room control tower and establishing a safety rating system to provide comfortable and safe city gas supply.
