[Featured Stock] Paratech Rises on Plans to Install Sprinklers in All Underground Parking Lots for Electric Vehicle Fire Prevention

Paratech is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as being influenced by the news that sprinklers will be installed in all underground parking lots to prepare for electric vehicle fires.

As of 2 PM on the 24th, Paratech is trading at 1,440 KRW, up 6.04% compared to the previous day.

According to the industry, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the same day that it will promote improvements to disaster safety-related systems in areas closely related to citizens' lives, such as electric vehicle fires. Among the main improvement tasks, the Fire Agency will improve fire facility standards to require the installation of fire detection and fast-acting sprinklers in all underground parking lots to prepare for electric vehicle fires.

Currently, the targets were parking lots with an area of 200㎡ or more and mechanical parking facilities with 20 or more vehicles, but from now on, all underground parking lots will be subject to this.

Meanwhile, Paratech is a company specializing in firefighting equipment and firefighting facility construction, and it was the first in Korea to develop, produce, and receive certification for sprinklers.
