BHI Hosts Major Visits from Global SMR Companies... "Showcasing Business Capabilities"

BH HI announced on the 24th that global Small Modular Reactor (SMR) companies made a large-scale visit to its headquarters in Haman, Gyeongnam. Major visiting companies included Nuscale Power, TerraPower, Seaborg, and AtkinsR?alis nuclear.

This visit was conducted as part of the 'Gyeongnam SMR International Conference' hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do. At the main event held on the 22nd of this month, key domestic government agencies in the nuclear field, overseas SMR companies, and private enterprises gathered to share SMR commercialization strategies and the latest status.

At the conference, BH HI gave a presentation titled 'Participation in SMR Technology Development and Business Status,' introducing the company's technological capabilities and achievements. The following day, during the headquarters visit, the company also explained its SMR and large nuclear power plant equipment manufacturing capabilities to the global SMR companies.

BH HI emphasized its history of supplying Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment for the US Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant Units 3 and 4 and Summer Nuclear Power Plant Units 2 and 3, successfully delivered by 2013 after winning the order in 2010, through its long-standing partnership with Toshiba, a partner of Westinghouse in the US. Recently, BH HI has continued to achieve steady results in related fields, including signing a supply contract for auxiliary equipment for small nuclear reactor research with a domestic power generation public enterprise.
