E8, Targeting Asia BIM Solution Market with "Digital Twin" Strategy

Leading domestic digital twin technology company E8 announced on the 24th that it has signed a digital twin-based BIM technology cooperation and sales partnership with the Malaysia Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Hong Kong building information modeling (BIM) company Manly-Tech Engineering Ltd (Manly) at the International Construction Week Build Expo held in Malaysia.

CIDB is a pivotal public institution managing construction quality and safety in Malaysia, exerting influence by setting construction policies and project directions across Asia beyond Malaysia. E8 plans to actively expand its digital twin business in the Asian market by leveraging CIDB's extensive network. The Asian BIM solution supply market is approximately $8.8 billion as of 2024. This market is expected to record a CAGR of 13.1% from 2024 to 2029. E8 aims for annual sales of $25 million through aggressive sales activities via CIDB.

At the Build Expo, CIDB CEO Mohd Zaid Zakaria and Malaysian Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi visited the booths of E8 and Manly. They engaged in detailed discussions on supplying digital twin and data management platform businesses to the Malaysian construction market while observing product demonstrations.

CIDB is promoting a policy called the "Construction Industry Transformation Programme (CITP)." It focuses on innovating construction processes and maximizing productivity and efficiency through the adoption of BIM, digital twin, IoT, and other technologies. E8's digital twin platform NDX PRO is built on data models and international standards used in domains such as smart cities and BEMS utilizing IoT, providing excellent global scalability and compatibility. This partnership is expected to serve as an opportunity for E8's technological capabilities to be internationally recognized.
